See Where Your Katana Is Forged
Every Katana US blade begins its journey in Longquan, where families have refined swordsmithing for over 2,000 years, tradition, steel, and fire merge to create soul.
Our Values
At Katana US, our purpose is to honor the spirit of the samurai through modern craftsmanship. Every blade we forge carries a story, a union between precision, strength, and timeless beauty.
We are guided by respect for authentic Japanese swordsmithing. From molten steel to final polish, each process pays homage to centuries of discipline and mastery.
Excellence isn’t an act for us, it’s our way. We work only with premium steels, uphold ancestral techniques, and merge them with innovation to create pieces that perform as flawlessly as they inspire.

Our Team

William, Head of Research and Innovation, bridges past and present by blending traditional forging with advanced metallurgy, ensuring every blade meets the highest standards of strength and balance.
Our 25 master smiths represent generations of artisans who dedicate their lives to the forge. Each hammer strike is a statement of patience, precision, and art.
Supporting them, Louise, Nina, and Ahsan ensure that every client experience reflects our same level of care and respect, from the first question to the final delivery.

Where Are Our Katanas Forged?
The soul of every Katana US blade begins in the fire. We collaborate with expert swordsmiths in Japan and China, two lands whose forging traditions shaped the art of the katana itself. This alliance allows us to create a diverse collection, each piece with its own steel composition, balance, and story.
Most of our katanas are born in Longquan, a small mountain province in China renowned for its 2,000-year-old sword-making heritage. For centuries, Longquan’s forges have been revered for their folding techniques and heat-treatment mastery, even Japan once imported blades and forging methods from this region, a testament to its lasting influence on the world of swords.
China, with its less stringent regulations on exportation and forging, allows us to offer hand-forged katanas at affordable prices, starting from $200. This accessibility does not compromise the quality of our swords, which still benefit from the exceptional savoir-faire of our partner craftsmen.
At Katana US, we are proud to offer a carefully selected range of these exceptional pieces to our customers passionate about art and Japanese tradition.
Every katana we deliver is a piece of living art, shaped by fire, discipline, and human passion. Whether displayed, practiced, or passed down, it carries within it the same reverence that inspired generations of samurai.
